Dr. Robert Cargile graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1998. He received his commission in the U.S. Navy as a house officer in surgery. Tours of duty with U.S. Marine Corps were followed by completion of Undersea Medical Officer qualifications for service in the diving and submarine fleets.
Dr. Cargile transitioned from active to reserve Navy forces in June 2004 and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in 2009. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and has additional fellowship training in MRI and Musculoskeletal Radiology.
